As @NavyLCDR posted, if you have a digital license for the Windows 11 edition, it will then automatically get activated. Very well, this defines the purpose of these keys and the limit of their usage.

Then enter the generic key for Windows 10/11 Home YTMG3-N6DKC-DKB77-7M9GH-8HVX7. I am not sure if this works from Settings -> System -> Activation then Change your Windows key.

WEBJun 16, 2022. #10. Edit: Once running Home, if the Pro is a OEM key, change the license key with a generic Pro key. (Windows doesn't accept a OEM Pro key to upgrade). It will upgrade to Pro, restart but wont activate. Then change the license key with the OEM Pro. Now it will activate.
