Not sure about private trips but place seemed ready to close by 1700 and you would need to allow around 2 hours for your visit.

It was a few hours drive from Runaway Bay. We left the hotel at 9:00 a.m.and returned at 3:00 p.m. It's 2 hours from Ocho Rios.
