Just a fun place to. visit. Beautiful area. Easy hiking. Repairs needed for one of the main trails that is now closed. Donate to them when you are there. Full review by Retiredtraveler5050

There are some trails that should be accessible with a cane. I would suggest stopping at the visitors center and asking which trails are accessible.

Coachella Valley Preserve is owned by a non profit land trust. There is no admission fee, but a donation is expected. There are 880 acres surrounded by 20,000 more owned by other entities. There are 26 miles of trail. It is open Wednesday-Sunday 8-4.

You can do the little loop at the Coachella valley preserve to the oasis and back , that is easy and you can still see the followers. You can see the beautiful wild flowers at Joshua Tree park. You can enter from the south side, they are beautiful and just stop your car. You can also depending where you are the Borrego Spring park, there were beautiful flowers.
