Welcome to The Grand Pavilion in the beautiful village of Matlock Bath! Perfectly positioned on the edge of a World Heritage Site and The Peak District National Park, our slightly shabby Edwardian exterior belies the activity and passion within. We are the largest performing arts space in the Derbyshire Dales, providing wider access to cultural events to both tourists and to the surrounding rural communities. Since 1910, this building has served locals and tourists alike. In fact, in 2010, it was our local community that formed a charity to save this extraordinary building, and is still run and operated as a charity today. Our aim is to restore the The Grand Pavilion to its former position as a thriving destination for locals & tourists.
