After you take the Lake Brownwood State Park turnoff, there is Jack’s Bait Store on the left side of the road. He sells fish bait, ice, beer, bread and many miscellaneous food, first aide, etc items. I’m amazed at all the things he offers for sell! Lake Brownwood State Park has no store persay. The office does carry a few candy bars, ice, and firewood though.
Yes, from what I remember the cabins are near the water. Most all the areas are close to water except for the RV full hook-up area. But is a short drive to the swimming area.
