A fabulous place to visit. We were blown away by the beauty. We've never seen anything so spectacular. Allow yourself plenty of time to amble and take a camera. Cable cars take you directly there Full review by Roobcox

Is there an alternative way of getting to the gardens, other than cable car? Thank you

To go to Monte Palace gardens the bus is 22 Babosas and a short (5 mins) walk. To go to the Botanical gardens the bus is 31/31A Jardim Botanico and drops you at the entrance.

Haven’t been on toboggan but think it’s only a short ride.( very bumpy surface) But there’s a regular bus service if you don’t want to take cable car both ways.
