There are areas you can fish from dock...There are also areas behind ROGE Brewery that you can walk out and fish as well as some rocks near there behind the hotel by the Brewery..Just be aware of the Tide around the rocks so you dont get cut off lol.. There are many other access points as far as beach fishing goes as well. Hope this helps and enjoy Newport..

I dont think you can. Its a bit busy down that way and I never saw anyone fishing from land, only a boat.
