Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, commonly referred to as APU, is a private university in Beppu, ÅŒita, Japan. APU was established in 2000 through the collaboration of three parties from the public and private sectors: ÅŒita Prefecture, Beppu City, and the Ritsumeikan Trust.
