It is a long drive from Auckland to climb huge sand dunes but we had fun. Bring your sunscreen and some water. Also consider goggles to keep the sand out of your eyes as when the wind blows, the sand… Full review by 628brucep

Such a fun experience in a unique part of NZ. Amazing views from the top, fun for everyone. $15 to hire a boogie board. Closes 5pm. Full review by AbbeyP84
