This is one of the best waterfalls I have been to. You can go behind it. You will get wet but not badly. Go up the left side if you are going behind. Full review by GoPlaces648973

In our experience, we found Iceland to be much less blocked off with fences than in the states. Less scheduled hours of visitation and fewer rules. Very few of the sites you visit require a ticket or payment, the country has left much to its own natural beauty and it comes across as very real, raw, and almost primal. When we visited Seljalandsfoss in May, we were exploring it at 10:00pm because the days are so light for so long. Hopefully visitors and locals will continue to respect the country and it’s natural beauty.
