Thank you for your enquiry, yes all of our journeys do return to where they departed. Our River and Rainforest trip from Strahan heads half way to Queenstown, turns at the Dubbil Barril …

Thank you for your enquiry, yes all of our journeys do return to where they departed. Our River and Rainforest trip from Strahan heads half way to Queenstown, turns at the Dubbil Barril station and returns to Strahan, our Rack and Gorge does the same from Queenstown, to Dubbil Barril and return to Queenstown. We also offer a full trip from Strahan to Queenstown and return during all timetables except our Winter one. We do hope you can join us on board for one of our historic journeys soon.

Yes there is but is a Council carpark and you have to pay for it. You also have to have change to put in the machine as it doesn't allow credit cards. It is right next to the station but …

Yes there is but is a Council carpark and you have to pay for it. You also have to have change to put in the machine as it doesn't allow credit cards. It is right next to the station but is not owned or run by them and the people at the lovely cafe do not like giving out change even if you buy something.

As mentioned above we do recommend to all guests to book in advance where possible. Some visitors are lucky enough to find available seats on the day of travel but most are left wishing they had made a reservation. We are now heading into our busy season also and will be sending out full trains daily. We look forward to having you join us on board soon.
