I will be in the area on a Saturday in mid May. It appears they are not open for tours on Saturdays (if I am reading their hours incorrectly, please advise me). If they are indeed closed on Saturdays, would I be able to still see the manor from the road if I drove there, or is the home out of view from the roadway?

Sorry, this answer may be too late, but I do NOT think you can see much from the road at all. Shame, but there is a very high wall all round the estate.
