According to the aerial footage of the area, sadly Cape San Blas, including St. Joseph State Park, sustained devastating damage and was literally cut into by the water and now appears be two islands. The roads were ripped apart as were many of the structures and businesses in the area. The park website states that it will be closed indefinitely.

Can you drive down cabin road to near the tip of the peninsula? I can’t tell if it’s a walking trail or driving trail from Google Maps.

I don't believe you can drive it, hiking trails all over though. The trails go through quite a bit of woodsy areas, so may be hot and buggy in the summer.
