Easily reached by train. Beautiful bridge and river. You can renta row boat or go on a short boat tour. Beautiful landscape. Full review by roryjdoyle

This old bridge connects the old town of Arashiyama with the southern bank of the river and the monkey park. It was incredibly crowded which made it hard to appreciate but it did give nice views down… Full review by TassieTravellers99
