Just a few weeks ago, we tried to see if Microsoft's Copilot could predict the NFL Draft and it went off the rails almost immediately. After correctly assuming Cam Ward would go No. 1 overall to the Tennessee Titans, it got off track with Adbul Carter at No. 2 and Shedeur Sanders to the New York Giants at No. 3. Safe to say that did not happen.
Could the Hawks put No. 13 and No. 22 together and move up the board? Generally speaking, this is a reasonable hypothetical, as some other NBA teams could be interested in turning one single pick into multiple "swings.
Of course, the Kings sent their protected 2025 first-round pick to the Hawks in the trade that landed them Kevin Huerter in 2022, a trade that did not work out well for Sacramento. Because of this, the Kings will not have a first-round pick in next month’s draft but they do hold the Spurs’ second-round pick due to the Fox trade earlier this year.
