Man shot and killed outside Charlestown convenience store, suspect arrested
CHARLESTOWN - A man was found shot and killed in the parking lot of a Boston convenience store Saturday night. "I just heard a lot of gunshots go off," said Devonte Teixeira.

A 45-year-old Charlestown man has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting over the weekend at a 7-Eleven parking lot in the Boston neighborhood. Boston police announced Monday morning that David Menezes was arrested Sunday night in Roxbury and will face a murder charge.

Charlestown shooting victim identified as death investigation continues
The man has now been identified as 46-year-old Joseph Donahue of Charlestown. Further investigation revealed Donahue had been shot. EMS pronounced Donahue dead on the scene. The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Boston Police Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470.
