In exchange for Carrington, the Wing will receive Lynx guard Diamond Miller, Lynx guard Karlie Samuelson and Minnesota's 2027 second-round pick.

Miller and Samuelson will join a Dallas team that sits at 8-21. Miller was taken with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2023 WNBA draft, earning WNBA All-Rookie team honors in her first professional season. Miller appeared in 25 games for the Lynx this season, averaging 4.1 points.
