AKRON, Ohio — Police are searching for a man who robbed a dollar store at gunpoint during the weekend. Police say the robbery occurred at about 9:17 p.m. Saturday at the Family Dollar at 1750 S. Main St. in the Firestone Park neighborhood. Workers tell police the suspect approached the counter armed with a handgun and demanded cash.

Police are requesting the public's help in finding a robbery suspect from Friday. According to a Facebook post from the Richmond Police Department, about 11:30 a.m., a Black male with a mustache and identified as wearing a dark-colored ball cap and light gray T-shirt entered the Family Dollar on South 9th Street.
