Nashville Police: Scuffle led to fatal shooting at The Mall at Green Hills, info sought
Nashville police responded to a fatal shooting Tuesday near Berry Hill Road along Interstate 65 northbound. Police responded to a shooting call around 2:07 p.m. The road is closed as police investigate. The Tennessee Department of Transportation announced ramp closures from 440 eastbound and westbound to I-65 northbound.

The driver of the Tesla was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. The passenger got out of the car and “dumped a gun over the guardrail” by Interstate 65. MNPD officers were able to recover that weapon. The passenger has been taken to MNPD headquarters to be interviewed.
