Sunday, Monday and Tuesday bring the coldest air of the season as cold takes over much of the U.S. We are on First Alert for lows below zero and wind chill as cold as -25. Cold Weather Advisories are also in place starting late Saturday night and will run through noon Tuesday. Dress in layers and keep your pets warm during this cold stretch.

We are expecting another surge of arctic air across the country, and this will reach our area by the late weekend. We’ve declared Day for Monday and Tuesday for subfreezing temperatures and single digit wind chills.
