Residents south of the San Saba River in San Saba County have been ordered to evacuate because of river surging.

Over 130 people have died after heavy rain pounded Kerr County, Texas, early Friday, leading to "catastrophic" flooding, the sheriff said.

Rain arrived in Dallas-Fort Worth Saturday evening, as the region is under a flood watch. Meanwhile, a flood watch that began Saturday afternoon is set to last until 7 p.m. Sunday.

Searches were suspended and a new flash flood warning was issued in Kerrville and Kerr County, Texas, on July 13 in the wake of the flooding that struck the area last week on July 4. The warning was downgraded to a flood watch hours later.

A flash flood warning is in effect until 9 a.m. for Boston and several communities south of the city, including Brockton, Quincy, and Randolph, officials said Thursday morning. The National Weather Service also issued a flood watch that will remain in effect until 4 p.m. for Rhode Island and eastern portions of Massachusetts and Connecticut.
