Offensively, quarterback Carson Beck connected with a variety of pass catchers as he helped Georgia cut into Alabama’s lead. Beck and Georgia converted five fourth downs, but ultimately failed to punch it into the end zone on Georgia’s final drive.

Georgia rallied to outscore Alabama 21-3 in the second half to close within 33-28 wth five minutes left. Georgia scored 13 points in the first 10 minutes of the first quarter to turn an Alabama romp into a tense game.
