Elon Musk's SpaceX launched GSAT-20 - ISRO's latest communications satellite from Cape Canaveral in Florida on November 19th. The launch had utilised Space X's Falcon 9 rocket.

SpaceX has successfully launched the Indian GSAT-20 communication satellite from Cape Canaveral, Florida. The launch marks the first-ever commercial collaboration between the Indian Space Research Organisation and Elon Musk's aerospace giant, SpaceX.

AM (IST) on Tuesday, the GSAT-20 satellite began its 34-minute journey into space. The launch took place from Space Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral in Florida, USA.

The 4,700 kg satellite, GSAT-20, is set to transform broadband services across remote areas and provide in-flight Internet for passenger aircraft.

SpaceX is set to launch the GSAT-N2 satellite today (Nov. 18), the company's first-ever mission for the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
