Five-star prospect Jackson Cantwell, the No. 1 offensive tackle in the Class of 2026, committed to Miami during a ceremony held at Missouri's Nixa High School on Tuesday. The Hurricanes won a heavyweight recruiting battle against Georgia, Oregon and Ohio State to secure his services.

Oregon Ducks has also made a final push with a visit on Monday, but Georgia and Miami appear to be the main contenders. While sources in Coral Gables suggest Miami is exploring other options, the race isn’t over. As Wiltfong cautioned, “Miami has come on strong with another late offer on the NIL side as well. This could go a few different ways.”
