Huntsville Police say officers responded to a home on Oakdale Terrace around 10 p.m. When officers arrived they found a man who had been shot to death. On Friday, the victim’s family identified the deceased as 46-year-old Jalil Mohammad.

Authorities identified the victim killed in a shooting that happened Thursday night in Huntsville. Huntsville Police say they responded to a shooting in progress on the 2700 block of Oakdale Terrace around 10 p.m. Thursday. When officers arrived at the scene, the found a man that had suffered a fatal gunshot wound.

The Madison County Coroner identified the victim of a deadly shooting in Huntsville Thursday night. Madison County Coroner Dr. Tyler Berryhill said 46-year-old Jalil Mohammad was shot and killed on Oakdale Terrace.
