Fourth of July travel expected to be the busiest in years

If you’re planning to hit the road for the Fourth of July weekend, be prepared– millions are expected to travel by car, the highest amount on record for the holiday, according to recent projections. According to AAA,

California State Park officials have closed the Silverwood Lake Recreation Area through the Fourth of July holiday weekend. In a news release Wednesday, July 2, park officials cited “extensive damage and public safety hazards” caused by the Lake fire for the closure.
