An investigation is underway after a jet carrying a Gonzaga team was ordered to stop as it neared a runway where another aircraft was taking off at LAX.

A chartered flight carrying the Gonzaga men's basketball team nearly collided with a Delta flight in Los Angeles on Friday.

“Key Lime, stop, stop stop,” an air traffic controller said on the livestream before the plane came to a rest. The Delta plane appeared to take off without incident. NBC Los Angeles reported the charter jet was carrying the Gonzaga University men’s basketball team. The FAA is investigating the situation.
