Million dollar bonds have been set for two New Orleans metro women accused of helping escapees who broke out of the Orleans Parish jail last week, Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill announced on Thursday.
Louisiana State Police, who have yet to find half of the Orleans Parish Prison escapees, announced the arrest of two women on Thursday – one who allegedly gave food to an escapee and another who was suspected to have been “in contact via phone” with one of the former prisoners.
Cortnie Harris, 32, and Corvanntay Baptiste, 38, join prison worker Sterling Williams, 33, in being charged over the shocking escape plot.

Orleans Parish District Attorney Jason Williams scorched Sheriff Susan Hutson for failing to order an investigation into the crime scene where 10 inmates escaped from jail.
