A mob attacked the office of the Superintendent of Police in Kangpokpi, Manipur, over the officer's alleged inaction in removing central forces from Saibol village. The violence followed protests by Kuki organizations against security forces and resulted in injuries and property damage.

Videos emerging from Kangpokpi on Friday purportedly show armed individuals walking dressed in camouflage on the streets, carrying what appear to be sophisticated weapons.
