Police are investigating a double homicide that occurred Saturday at a McKinney intersection. Officers responded shortly before 6 p.m. to multiple 911 calls reporting a shooting in the area of Colorado and Chestnut streets, near South McDonald Street, and found two people who had been shot, police said.

MCKINNEY, Texas — Two people died after suffering gunshot wounds in a shooting Saturday night in McKinney, police said. According to the McKinney Police Department, officers responded to the shooting around 5:50 p.m. near the intersection of Chestnut Street and Colorado Street.

McKinney Police received multiple 911 calls reporting gunfire near Chestnut Street and Colorado Street on Saturday night.

A manhunt began after police responded to a domestic violence report Saturday night at the Coach 'N Four apartments in Yorktown's Jefferson Valley.
