ATLANTA (WSAV) — The Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) confirmed the first measles case of 2025 in Georgia on Tuesday. In 2024, there were six reported cases of measles in Georgia. The metro Atlanta area resident is unvaccinated and acquired the virus while traveling within the United States, the DPH said.
