After watching Hurricane Helene devastate the community she serves, but experiencing little damage herself, Gulf High School student government advisor Diana Krupyak had just one thought. She wanted to help others who lost so much.

Schools across South Georgia have begun to announce possible return dates, while others are still assessing damage caused by the storm.
