On Friday, Aug. 8, Lions player Morice Norris Jr. was attempting to tackle Falcons running back Nathan Carter when he suffered injuries to the head and neck area. At the time, the Lions were leading 17-10 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, the NFL and Sky Sports reported.

Lions safety Morice Norris was hurt with 14:50 to go in the fourth quarter while trying to tackle Falcons running back Nathan Carter.

But on the Falcons' final drive of the game, Lions cornerback Morice Norris went down with a scary injury that led to him leaving the stadium in an ambulance. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport later confirmed Norris had suffered head and neck injury.
