Tennessee quarterback Nico Iamaleava is in concussion protocol ahead of the Georgia game. Coach Josh Heupel updated his status on Wednesday.

The Tennessee Volunteers are going into one of the biggest games of the 2024 season when they travel to Athens to take on the Georgia Bulldogs. It’s a game that the Volunteers enter with questions about the status of their starting quarterback Nico Iamaleava.

Coach Josh Heupel said No. 6 Tennessee should have quarterback Nico Iamaleava available on when the Vols visit 11th-ranked Georgia. Iamaleava left the 33-14 win over Mississippi State late in the first half after taking a hard hit from safety Isaac Smith.
