UCLA is in the running for a wide receiver who just played in the College Football Playoff National Championship.

South Bend, Ind. – Notre Dame offensive lineman Pat Coogan, who started 26 games over the last two seasons and often served as the team's pregame hype man, is transferring. Coogan announced his intentions on social media Thursday and will have one year of eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer.

It appears a trip to the National Championship isn’t going to be enough to keep a pair of starting offensive linemen at Notre Dame. Just days after the Irish lost to Ohio State 34-23, some impactful players appear to be moving on.

It wasn’t much of a surprise to see several Notre Dame players enter the transfer portal following the national championship game this week. It was even less of a surprise to see multiple offensive linemen enter,
