Despite a rule-run defeat in the last game of the series vs Vanderbilt, Ole Miss baseball was able to shake off the doldrums of the past few weeks.

The Rebels (31-13, 12-9 SEC) won their latest SEC series 2-1 at home against Vanderbilt (31-13, 12-9). Even though the final game of the series was a 13-0 run-rule loss, Ole Miss' series win combined with an 8-7 victory in the Governor's Cup against Mississippi State to make for a winning weekend.

The No. 23 Ole Miss baseball team secured their fourth SEC series of the season with a 7-1 win over No. 9 Vanderbilt Saturday afternoon at Swayze Field. A six-run fourth inning and seven strong frames from Riley Maddox boosted the Rebels to their 12th SEC win of the year.
