Announced at CES 2025, the Swift OLED PG27UCDM is the first of its kind. Up until this time, you either picked a high resolution and lower refresh rate, or a buttery smooth framerate with a lower resolution. Now, we don’t have to make that choice anymore, and after witnessing this for myself, I’m so glad that this decision is no more.

Alienware is joining Asus, Samsung, and MSI in making a silly “world’s first” claim — all four of them are now set to launch a genuinely exciting new wave of 27-inch 4K QD-OLED gaming monitors with an excellent 240Hz refresh rate.

Ahead of CES 2025, I got to check out Alienware’s most exciting OLED gaming monitor yet — a 27-inch 4K model. I got to play a few rounds of Halo Infinite on the monitor at an Alienware event, and I was blown away by how sharp it looked.

K OLED 240Hz monitors seem to be like buses: you wait ages for one and then three turn up at once. Asus, Samsung, and MSI are all announcing the industry’s next-generation QD-OLED gaming monitors that offer the benefits of 4K OLED 240Hz panels at the smaller 27-inch size instead of 32 inches.

Dell has announced a 4K QD-OLED monitor, the company's first OLED monitor that isn't designed first and foremost for gaming.
