Extra clouds linger through Tuesday afternoon for the Front Range, with temperatures staying chilly in the upper 30s in the Denver weather forecast.

Bitterly cold conditions will impact Southwest and Central Virginia for the middle of the week. Tuesday will be blustery and colder with mostly to partly sunny skies overhead. Wind gusts of 25 – 35 mph may occur.

A Pinpoint Yellow Alert Day is in place today as we wait for more snow to arrive to the Mid-Ohio Valley. We will start off this morning with very frigid temperatures. Most of the region is starting off very close to 0 degrees.

A Pinpoint Weather Alert Day has been issued for Saturday because of expected snowfall, cold, and impacts to roadways. Before then, FOX31 Pinpoint Weather Team Meteorologist Alden German is tracking some warmer daytime temperatures.

Gusty winds, mountain snow showers, and much colder air will kick off the new year in Southwest and Central Virginia. A Wind Advisory will continue for counties along/west of the Blue Ridge through midday on Wednesday.
