Madrid wrapped up victory in the second minute of stoppage time, when the unfortunate Martin Valjent turned Brahim Diaz's centre into his own net.

The Supercopa de Espana final for 2024 will once more pit Clasico rivals Real Madrid and Barcelona against one another in Jeddah. Los Blancos overcame Mallorca 3-0 on January 9 to secure their place in the showpiece, 24 hours after Barca had eliminated Athletic Club in the other semifinal.
