New York City police arrested a man in connection with the beating death of a Peter Forrest, a frontman for 24/7 Spyz who performed as P. Fluid.

Police say a beloved music figure is the victim of a brutal killing in New York City. A co-worker found P. Fluid (real name Peter Forrest) dead on Monday, according to the New York Daily News. An unknown person or persons beat the 64-year-old former 24-7 Spyz vocalist to death.

Peter Forrest, best known as 24-7 Spyz frontman P. Fluid, died Monday after being beaten to death in an ambulette bus in the Bronx, according to the New York Daily News. The front door window had been broken and Forrest was lying face down in the back in a pool of blood, New York Police Department sources said.

Peter Forrest, the frontman for the rock band 24-7 Spyz which rose to fame in the 1990s, has died. He was 64.

Crazy Town's Shifty Shellshock, born Seth Binzer, died on June 24 at the age of 49. He was found in his home in Los Angeles, and his rep told Rolling Stone that his cause of death was ruled an accidental overdose.
