Behind 2-for-4 efforts and a combined five RBIs from Wilyer Abreu and Trevor Story, the Boston Red Sox scored five runs across the sixth and seventh innings en route to a 6-2 win over the visiting Kansas City Royals on Tuesday night.

Against the visiting bullpen, the Red Sox found the clutch pedal again. Between the sixth and seventh inning they scored five runs, all with two outs. Wilyer Abreu greeted Angel Zerpa with a double that put two in scoring position for Trevor Story, who brought both men home with a go-ahead two-run single.
