Michigan’s football program addressed two of its most pressing offseason needs in the transfer portal Sunday night. The Wolverines received commitments from UMass receiver Anthony Simpson and Louisiana cornerback Caleb Anderson, giving them 13 portal additions this cycle. Former Arizona and UMass transfer wide receiver Anthony Simpson was the latest addition, committing to the Big Ten powerhouse on Sunday, per ESPN's Pete Thamel. Simpson played his first two seasons at the collegiate level, from 2021 to 2022, with the Arizona Wildcats. He then transferred to UMass and played the last two seasons with the Minutemen.
