Light rain showers will be around at times Saturday and will mix with snow as cold air moves in throughout the second half of the day. Be on alert for scattered slick spots on the roads Saturday evening and night. High around 40F. Low 35F.
Watch for a short periods of moderate to heavy rainfall this evening. Light showers takeover again overnight, then another burst of steady rain arrives midday Wednesday. There might be hail and/or graupel mixed in with tomorrow's showers.
ROCHESTER, N.Y.The First Alert Weather Team has issued a Yellow Alert for heavy snow starting Friday afternoon. Until then, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day will bring quiet weather.Christmas Eve temperatures will drop to a low of 27 degrees and winds will stay between 5 to 10 mph out of the south.
