Asus, Death Stranding and Gaming Laptop

I test-drove Asus' tasty 16-inch ultralight with Qualcomm's anticipated 18-core Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme chip inside. This hard-hitting Arm salvo might even dent machines like Apple's 15-inch MacBook Air.
Asus is announcing a new ProArt PX13 convertible laptop and ProArt PZ14 detachable tablet for CES 2026. The PX13 comes in two versions: a standard model and a GoPro Edition. Both feature a stylus-compatible 13.3-inch 2880 x 1800 OLED display, dial pad control built into the trackpad, and AMD’s “Strix Halo” Ryzen AI Max APU options.
Asus announced a bunch of new laptops across its ZenBook, ProArt, ExpertBook lineups, and more. They feature the company's Lumina OLED screens, which provide at least 120Hz refresh rates, accurate, Pantone-validated color, and up to 600 nits of brightness.
Asus is launching a 16-inch version of its award-winning MacBook Air competitor. Announced at CES 2026 on Tuesday, the new Asus Zenbook A16 is a thin, light Windows laptop with a fresh Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme chip and a 3K OLED touchscreen featuring a sleek 90 percent screen-to-body ratio.
The two displays get much closer now for a tidier setup. Plus, it’s got a big-ass battery.
At CES 2026, both Asus’ consumer laptops and gaming laptops are getting shiny new displays, and they might’ve solved the biggest problem with OLED.
Asus' dual-screen gaming laptop is back with more screen than ever. The Taiwanese tech company unveiled a new ROG Zephyrus Duo with twin 16-inch 3K OLED touchscreens at CES 2026 Monday, marking its first update in three years and a major redesign.
The Asus ProArt PZ14 features two USB 4.0 Type-C ports, an SD card reader, and a 3-month Adobe Creative Cloud subscription to support creators purchasing its new machine. The PZ14 is built to US Military Grade MIL-STD 810H standards and is rated IP52 for dust and splash resistance. It is scheduled for release in Q2 2026.
I challenge any PC maker at CES 2026 to serve up a more eye-catching desktop design than the Asus ROG G1000, which comes kitted out with outrageous dancing holograms in the side and front windows.
