A fire at the Owl Metals recycling facility in Dundalk has been extinguished, according to the County Fire Department​.

The fire had continued rekindling at times since fire personnel first responded to a three-alarm fire at the Owl Metals Inc. on Jan. 18, prompting air quality alerts for nearby residents.

Fire officials in Baltimore County declared that the tricky blaze at the Owl Metals building that continued to rekindle has been extinguished. A fire at a scrap metal recycling plant is being treated as arson by police. Emergency services were called to the blaze at R. Davies Metals & Sons on Oak Lane in Kingswinford, Dudley, just after 23:10 GMT on Sunday.
