Kennedy Jr., President Donald Trump’s nominee to lead the Department of Health and Human Services, is scheduled to return to Capitol Hill on Thursday to face a second Senate panel in as many days as he vies for confirmation to lead a nearly $2 trillion agency.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was pressed to clarify his views on vaccines, abortion, and public health priorities in his first Senate hearing.

“Campaign food is always bad, but the food that goes onto that airplane is, like, just poison,” Kennedy said on the podcast, likely referring to Trump's private airplane. You have a choice between – you don’t have the choice, you’re either given KFC or Big Macs.”
