A preview of VS Code for the Web enables developers to use VS Code in the browser without installing the tool locally.
Microsoft has moved its Edge browser development tools for Visual Studio Code from preview to general availability, providing in-editor web site debugging and other functionality.
Using it, a developer can open and edit his code at runtime, set breakpoints, step through code, and see the state of his web site one line of JavaScript at a time.
The video starts right at the beginning from a fresh Windows install, assuming you’ve got no dev tools to start with. It steps through installing git, Java, Kick Assembler, and Visual Studio Code.
