A man is dead following an officer-involved shooting near 35th Avenue and Osborn Road after police responded to a domestic violence call Friday evening.

A Press Democrat photojournalist was participating in a ride along with the officer involved in a shooting that occurred near 10th and Washington streets on Thursday.

The Bradenton Police Department is investigating an officer-involved shooting on Tuesday morning. Public Information Officer Meredith Censullo confirmed in an email that the shooting occurred around 9:30 a.m. near eastbound Martin Luther King Avenue, which is currently closed due to the investigation.
