After Los Angeles' move to acquire Doncic from the Mavericks became official on Sunday, he was introduced at a press conference two days later. Doncic was inactive for the Lakers' rout of the Clippers on Tuesday but watched pridefully from the sideline as his new team won for the seventh time in its last eight games.

Well, the trade was real. And come Sunday, the teams were ready to make it official. First the Mavericks tweeted out their welcome for Davis and Max Christie, who was also part of the deal. And a few hours later, the Lakers made their part of the trade official publicly.
