Ohio State offensive coordinator Chip Kelly is leaving to call plays for the Las Vegas Raiders next season, resulting in a mammoth-sized hole for Ryan Day and the defending national champions on their coaching staff.

Chip Kelly is returning to the NFL to become the Las Vegas Raiders' offensive coordinator under new head coach Pete Carroll, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter and Pete Thamel.
